Hunter's Creek Baptist Church was founded in 1812! It is one of the oldest churches in the region and has maintained a gospel witness in the Red Hill community for more than two centuries! We have a variety of music. We have a traditional choir, sing from hymnals, and we have a praise team that usually leads a song or two each Sunday morning. You can enjoy two of our teenagers singing a beautiful duet below!

(2) What should I wear to Hunter's Creek?
The vast majority of attendees are dressed casually. It is unusual to see a suit or tie at Hunter's Creek. You do not need to dress-up to worship with us!
(3) Do you have anything for my kids at Hunter's Creek?
Yes! Typically, we offer a full range of ministries and activities for children, but due to COVID are children's ministries are currently paused. We do have nursery and children's church during our 10am worship service.
(4) Can I get a ride to church?
Yes! We have an active van ministry that will be glad to provide a ride to church. Call/text 706-499-4237 to get a ride.
(5) What does Hunter's Creek do with the money that goes in the offering plate?
Hunter's Creek works very hard to use the money it receives to support other Christian ministries and to help needy people in the name of Jesus. We faithfully support missionaries in North America and around the globe. We also support local ministries such as Victory Home, Pilgrim's Ministries, Heart ministries, Franklin Life, and the Georgia Baptist Children's home. We also use the offerings we receive to provide support to local families in our community who are in desperate need of financial help. We try our best not to waste a single dollar that we receive!

Services are typically no longer than 60-75 minutes (and occasionally, we beat the Methodists to the Mexican restaurant)
(7) Can I get baptized at Hunter's Creek?

(8) What do I have to do to become a member at Hunter's Creek?
In order to be a member of Hunter's Creek you must: (1) Be a believer and follower of Jesus; (2) Be baptized, and; (3) Be approved by the church to become an official member of Hunter's Creek (this is a relatively simple process that requires you to meet with the pastor in order to become familiar with the beliefs and practices of Hunter's Creek).

Sadly, we do not have records that go back into the distant past. You are always welcome to visit the cemetery and look for information about deceased family members, but honestly, the best way to obtain information about the history of Hunter's Creek is to attend a service and speak with our senior members about the history of the church and its members. They are the best resource!
